2. Text Content. Throughout your directory site, there are over 10 spots available for you to add in your own content. This content can be text, HTML, and/or advertisements. Many of these spots also support Geography Variables. Geography Variables allows your site to dynamically generate relevant geography text (e.g. city and state names, zip codes).
   
   
3. Look & Feel. You can modify the look and feel of your site through CSS and by changing the logo. There are also a number of prebuilt CSS templates you can freely download and use.

Autoscaling Content

When a potential customer visits your directory for the first time, you want to create an impression of professionalism and legitimacy. A key ingredient to this is to have real business listings on your site. The act of finding, copying, and adding business information into the directory is a very tedious and mundane task. That's why we've taken care of that for you.

The autoscaling functionality refers to the automated process of populating relevant businesses into your directory on an ongoing basis. We will add 100+ to 1000+ businesses to your directory, depending on the plan you are on. How do we do this? We have developed a custom web scraper to do just this. The scraper will go, zip code by zip code, and add businesses in your niche into your directory, until all 40,000 US zip codes are accounted for.

Since there are probably tons of US businesses within your niche, we have added features that allow you to prioritize our autoscaling efforts. You can specify the exact zip codes for us to scrape first. On top of that, you can also prioritize by US state or territory.

Listings Management

Your niche business directory supports two types of listings. The screenshot at the bottom illustrates the differences between the two.

1. Business Listings. These are your normal business listings that appear on search results pages. These are the listings that our autoscaling script creates for your directory. You can add more business listings or make changes to existing listings.
   
   
2. Sponsored Listings. For many directory owners, sponsored listings are their bread and butter. Sponsor listings are prominently displayed above your business listings. They are typically sold at a very high premium.

Custom Page Management

You can add your own custom pages to your site. These pages will appear in your main site navigation bar. These pages can be either internal pages or external links.

Not sure what pages to add? Some quintessential pages include "About Us," "Advertise," and "Contact" pages.

However, you can really add any page you'd like, pages that will really relate to your specific niche and help with SEO. For instance, if you've picked a restaurant niche, you may to add recipes, or nutrition facts, or a compilation of online resources.

Your niche business directory is completely integrated with Google Maps. The map appears side by side your business listings. The map is completely interactive. Your visitors can zoom, drag, and click on the pins to see more details (see screenshot below).
